Nova BUILD Expo 2023 Hosts Strategic Roadshow in Chonburi to Accelerate Sustainable Building Innovation

PATTAYA, THAILAND — The organizing committee of Nova BUILD Expo 2023 launched the "Nova BUILD Roadshow @ Chonburi" at the Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and real estate executives to advance building innovations and business integration along Thailand's eastern seaboard.

The seminar was presided over by Ms. Thitilux Khampa, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province. High-profile attendees included Mr. Kittikun Khachaseni, Executive Director of Nova BUILD; Mr. Sanphet Suphabowornseth, President of the Thai Hotels Association (Eastern Chapter); and Mr. Rattanachai Suttidechanai, Central and Eastern Region Representative of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).

Paving the Way for Nova BUILD EXPO 2023

Organized by EEC Academy and its alliance of sector partners, the Chonburi roadshow serves as a precursor to the upcoming Nova BUILD EXPO 2023, scheduled for September 13–15 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. The flagship expo aims to serve as a cross-disciplinary platform connecting architects, engineers, technology providers, property developers, and facility managers.

By promoting eco-friendly building solutions, event organizers seek to stimulate growth across the design and construction ecosystems, providing decision-makers with direct access to domestic and international pioneers in building technology, services, and sustainable design.

The upcoming main event in September will feature technical seminars, a student design concept competition, innovation recognition awards, leadership keynotes, and targeted networking sessions designed to drive commercial partnerships.

Focusing on Coastal Infrastructure and Environmental Resilience

The Chonburi roadshow addressed technical and environmental challenges unique to coastal developments. Expert panel discussions centered on three core tracks:

Coastal Engineering & Material Systems: Selecting durable, corrosion-resistant building solutions suited to marine and coastal environments.

Energy-Efficient HVAC Systems: Deploying next-generation air conditioning technology to optimize energy performance.

Wastewater & Sanitation Innovation: Implementing advanced water treatment technologies to protect marine ecosystems and support environmental sustainability.

The roadshow drew strong turnout from hospitality executives and regional business leaders, underscoring growing demand for sustainable infrastructure solutions across Thailand’s commercial corridors.
